Ripple Circle and Image Media Club –April 2026
The Ripple Circle was held on 26th April 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre, Muthupatti. The session was facilitated by four resource persons from Aniyam Foundation, focusing on the challenges faced by transgender persons. Children received valuable inputs and engaged in discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of the social realities, discrimination, and resilience of the transgender community. The session encouraged empathy, awareness, and critical thinking.
In the afternoon, the Image Media Club was facilitated by Mr. Ganesan, Digital Media Trainer. Children watched the film “Slumdog Millionaire” and participated in a critique session, sharing their perspectives on the story, direction, and overall impact of the film. They actively discussed and gave their verdict on whether the movie was effective and meaningful.
These sessions continue to strengthen children’s awareness, critical thinking, and sensitivity towards social issues and media.
