Understanding Learning Disabilities: Every Child Can Learn

Sakthi-Vidiyal organized a one-day training programme for staff and volunteers on 28th June 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre, Muthupatti. The training, titled “Every Child Can Learn: Understanding Learning Disabilities and Effective Approaches for Supporting Children with Learning Disabilities,” was facilitated by Mr. Alan Joseph.

The programme focused on understanding different types of learning disabilities, recognizing early signs, and adopting inclusive teaching practices to support every child’s learning journey. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and practical strategies, participants explored ways to create child-friendly learning environments that encourage participation, confidence, and growth.

The training emphasized that every child has the ability to learn when provided with the right support, appropriate teaching methods, and an inclusive environment. Staff and volunteers strengthened their knowledge and skills to better identify learning needs, respond effectively, and ensure that every child receives opportunities to reach their full potential.

The programme reaffirmed Vidiyal’s commitment to inclusive education and to creating learning spaces where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
