Understanding the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement
The Understanding the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement (VCRM) session was held on 26th June 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre. The programme brought together children to deepen their understanding of the movement, its vision, structure, values, and the role of every member in promoting and protecting child rights.
The session introduced children to the objectives of VCRM, the functioning of the Children’s Forums, the leadership structure, and the importance of child participation in decision-making. Through interactive discussions and activities, children reflected on how they can actively contribute to strengthening the movement and become responsible leaders within their communities.
The session also emphasized that VCRM is a platform where children learn to speak up for their rights, support one another, and work collectively to bring about positive social change.
