26th Child Rights Festival
The 26th Child Rights Festival was held on 5th July 2025 at St. Mary’s School, bringing together children, parents, volunteers, and well-wishers for a vibrant day of celebration. The morning began with a lively carnival where children enjoyed a variety of games, toys, and food stalls, using tokens to participate in the festivities. The joyful atmosphere created opportunities for children to play, interact, and celebrate together.

The afternoon programme commenced with the presentation of the annual report by the children themselves in a creative and engaging format, showcasing the achievements and milestones of the Vidiyal Child Rights Movement. The chief guests, Mr. Balasubramaniam, Manager, TADCO, and Dr. Ruby, Founder of Nambikkai Arakattalai, addressed the gathering, encouraging children to continue being active participants and leaders in society.
The cultural programme featured a series of energetic dance performances by the children, followed by the Vidiyal Theatre Troupe’s powerful play, “Onai Manidhargal”, which captivated the audience with its thought-provoking message. The festival concluded at 6:00 PM, with parents and children returning home carrying joyful memories and renewed inspiration.
