Ripple Circle – Sensitization on Gender Equality
The Ripple Circle session on “Sensitization on Gender Equality” facilitated by Mr. D. Arockiam was held on 13th September 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre. The session began with a historical appraisal of gender and explored the gender issues prevailing in society, including discrimination, violence, marginalization, and non-representation.
The session also examined the impact of gender discrimination on males, females, and transpersons. Through discussions and reflection, children were encouraged to understand gender-based inequalities and develop a perspective grounded in equality, dignity, and inclusion.
