Ripple Circle – Analysis on Caste
The Ripple Circle session was held on 23rd August 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre, focusing on the analysis of caste and its impact on society. The session was facilitated by Mr. Cruz Durai, Director, Dalit Resource Centre, TTS.
Through an activity-oriented session, children were introduced to a historical appraisal of the caste system in India and encouraged to examine how caste-based divisions have shaped social relationships and opportunities. The session emphasized that caste is an evil aspect that creates discrimination, inequality, and division among people.
Through activities, discussions, and reflection, children were encouraged to question caste-based practices and understand the importance of equality, dignity, and social justice.
