The 27th Jolly Camp 2026

The 27th Jolly Camp 2026 at Vidiyal Training Centre, Muthupatti, was a 10-day journey(May 1 – May 10) filled with learning, joy, creativity, friendship, and values. Children began each day with assemblies, sing-song sessions, inspiring theme songs, and powerful stories shared by resource persons on leaders and change-makers like Justice M. Fathima Beevi, Verghese Kurien, Kalki Subramaniam, Azim Premji, and many more.

Each day focused on values such as family, work, societal, constitutional, economic, and environmental values. Children explored these themes through skits, storytelling, puppet shows, discussions, and creative presentations. Alumni of Vidiyal and volunteers also interacted with children, sharing real-life experiences and inspiring conversations.

The camp was filled with activities including art, craft, pot painting, skating, gymnastics, karate, silambam, folk dance, western dance, games, and talent performances. Special highlights included the Community Cooking Day at Thenparankundram, where children collectively cooked and shared meals, Friendship Day letter sharing, the Day of Giving with children-run stalls, and the memorable Vaigai river experience with the Love Feast.

The final day concluded with exhibitions of children’s work, cultural performances, certificate distribution, and prizes for participation.

More than a camp, Jolly Camp 2026 became a space where children learned values, built confidence, created friendships, and experienced joy together.
