One-Day Training Programme – 2nd August 2026
A one-day training programme was conducted on 2nd August 2026 at the Vidiyal Training Centre, bringing together children across all age groups for age-appropriate learning and creative activities. The Beginner group participated in a session on Understanding My Likes and Feelings, facilitated by Ms. A. Annie. The Primary group explored Art from Waste under the guidance of Mr. M. Ganesan, while the Junior group learned the creative skill of Greeting Card Making with Mr. M. Senthil.
The Intermediate group participated in a Life Skill Education session on Empathy, facilitated by Dr. C. Jim Jesudoss. The Senior group received training on Disaster Preparedness and First Aid, facilitated by Mr. D. Arockiam. Volunteers supported all the sessions, helping create an engaging and participatory learning environment for the children.
These trainings enable children to develop age-appropriate life skills, creativity, emotional awareness, empathy, practical knowledge, and the confidence to respond effectively to situations in their everyday lives.
